Israeli Arabs Arrested for Joining Hamas in Yesha

It was disclosed, Thursday that two Arabs from the Galilee village of Kafr Kana, north of Nazareth, were arrested by the Shabak Israel Security Agency and the Israel police last month on suspicion of being recruited by the Hamas terror network in Judea and Samaria.

During their investigation, it was revealed that they had been in contact with Hamas activists from Judea and Samaria, who worked on the planning and execution of terrorist attacks in the region and other parts of Israel. Indictments filed Thursday against the detainees in the Nazareth District Court, charged the, with being in contact with a foreign agent, weapons offenses and conspiracy to assist the enemy in war.
