Opposition Head Tzipi Livni met US Senator Joe Liberman in the Knesset Wednesday morning. tHey discussed the current wave of extremism sweeping Israel, and Livni stated: I keep hearing that the extremism wave sweeping Israel, from ‘Price Tag’ acts to violence against the IDF, to discrimination against women – affects the relations with the Diaspora, and make it difficult to defend Israel.
“This is an irrefutable fact, and the Israeli leadership must account for it. The Knesset should stop this wave instead of encouraging it. Otherwise, this could have severe implications on the future of the relations with the Diaspora Jews, who are very concerned over the situation in Israel.
