The presidium of theKnesset cleared the way, Monday for a billby MKAhmadTibi (Ra'am Ta'al United Arab List) to restrictresidentsof Judea and Samariafrom runningfor positions on the Supreme Court.
The lone vote against was that of Deputy Speaker Danny Danon, who said, "Tibiis trying tomake theresidentsof Judea and Samaria second-class citizensandmust not beallowed to do this.Anyone who residesin JudeaandSamariaisa shining exampleof Zionismand love of country,and this type pf treacherous bill indicate Tibi'sloyaltytoPalestiniansin ShechemandRamallahand not tothe citizens of the state of Israel."
