Frequent showers are forecast for Monday from the north to the northern Negev, with winds up to 40 kilometers/26 miles an hour bringing temperatures nationwide below normal. A high-wind warning is in effect at Mediterranean beaches and snow is expected on Mt. Hermon. The winds and rain are expected to weaken in the evening, with light rain expected along the coast Tuesday morning, otherwise partly cloudy and slightly warmer. The slight warming trend will continue through Wednesday under fair skies. On Thursday, it will be clear to partly cloudy with a chance of overnight rain in the north and along the coast.
