Netanyahu, Livni Visit Rabbi Lau During Shiva

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu visited on Sunday Tel Aviv’s chief rabbi, Rav Yisrael Meir Lau, who is sitting shiva for his brother, Rabbi Yehoshua Hager-Lau.

Opposition leader Tzipi Livni also paid a visit to Rabbi Lau. During the visit, she expressed her deep concern for latest clashes between hareidi-religious and secular Jews, and said that new leadership is required to shape the image of Israeli society.

Rabbi Lau called on Livni and the Knesset members to assist in spreading unconditional love and not towards spreading hate.
