Iran: Death Penalty Sought for American Spy

The Fars news agency reports that the Iranian State Attorney’s Office has requested the death penalty for the US citizen accused of espionage.

According to the report, the request came as a result of the citizens confession that he was trained in the US, and was intending to make allegations that Iran is involved in terrorist activity in foreign countries.
