Finance Minister Yuval Shteinitz castigated the Knesset decision to postpone increasing the retirement age for women from 62 to 64 for five years. “This populist decision will cost us dearly: Stipends will decrease and women will be worse off when they retire. This is the kind of decision made in Greece three of four years ago. The results are no good.”
