The road between Hizme and Adam, just north of Jerusalem, re-opened, Friday afternoon, after it was closed by the overturning of a gas truck. After the safe removal of the gas, authorities suspended efforts to get the truck out of a ditch in order to allow motorists to use the road to reach Shabbat destinations.

The road will reclose between 15:30 and 16:30. Motorists planning on going to the area are advised to arrive before the closure or use an alternate route like the Alon Road.
