It will be clear to partly cloudy on Friday with temperatures dropping slightly in the mountains and moderate to rough seas, including a high-wave warning at Mediterranean beaches. On Shabbat, the wind will pick up, making for additional cooling, and scattered showers are forecast for the north, with haze possible in the rest of the country. Toward evening, the rain will strengthen and spread to the center, raising the risk of local flooding in low-lying areas. Snow is expected for Mt. Hermon through Sunday, when occasional showers are expected from the northern border to the northern Negev, accompanied by a flash flood warning in the Judean desert. Winds will remain gusty, bringing temperatures below the seasonal average before weakening, along with the rain, toward evening. It will be partly cloudy, Monday, with a chance of light morning rain.
