Two attempts by Palestinian Authority Arabs to infiltrate Israel, via the Judea-Samaria security fence, were thwarted, Thursday. The first one was caught next to the Judean Arab village of Tuqua, not far from the Jewish community of Tekoa during a patrol by the Kefir anti-terror unit.
The second was caught by a paratroop brigade unit next to the western Samarian (Shomron) Arab village of Azoun-Atma, near the Jewish community of Sha'arei Tikva. A lookout unit of the Nitzan battalion spotted suspicious movement near the barrier. Both terrorists were turned over to the Israel Police for further investigation.
