The Turkish Foreign Ministry has announced Thursday morning that it harshly condemns the prolonged violence against Syrian civilians. According to the announcement, Turkey holds Assad accountable for the ‘bloodbath’ in Syria, and has serious doubts about Assad’s intentions to cooperate with the Arab League.
“No regime can win in a clash with its own people. Damascus must end the violence and meet the popular demands.”(Maariv)
The death toll of the last few days stands at some 250 victims of the syrian uprising suppression.
