North Korean media have reported that minutes before the death of revered dictator Kim Jong-Il, a massive blizzard that had been raging unabated, suddenly ceased, and the skies above  Mount Paektu, a holy mountain to the Koreans, and where the leader is supposed to have been born – although historians say he was born over the Soviet border - turned a deep red.

At that same instant, say the reports, the ice covering the nearby frozen lake Chon’ji was heard to crack.

Curiously, these very same miracles were reported at the time of Kim’s birth.
