"The northern front, including Syria, is unstable. We are closely following the recent developments in that area," said Israeli Air Force Commander Major General Ido Nechushtan. 

He made the statements as the IAF released its annual report. The report also indicated that there was a record use of unmanned drone planes in 2011.
