Iran will be capable of manufacturing a core for a nuclear device within one year, estimates Dr. Efrayim Askulai, former member of the IAEA, speaking at a lecture at the Netanya Academic College Center for Strategic Dialogue.

Dr. Askulai added that Iran will be capable of planning 5 bombs at the secret nuclear installation near the city of Kum.

US Defense secretary Leon Panetta also estimated that Iran is one year or less away from the Bomb.
