Samaria Roads: Giant Hanukkah Candelabras

The Samaria municipality has put up giant candelabras along the highway, to publicize the miracle of Hanukkah for the benefit of some 500,000 residents of Judea and Samaria who regularly use the highway. Samaria Council Chairman Gershon Mesika explains that “It is good to remember on Hanukkah that we residents of Yesha represent the light of the struggle to settle the land of Israel. A little light can drive away all the darkness of incitement against us.”
