Christians in Palestinian Authority controlled areas of Judea and Samaria will be able to receive entry passes into Israel, regardless of age, in order to accommodate them on the upcoming Christian holidays. Permits have also been issued for hundreds of Christians from the PA who will travel abroad via Ben Gurion Airport. In addition, several hundred Christians from Gaza will be permitted to enter Israel.
The steps were decided upon Monday after a meeting of top IDF officials, and were approved by Defense Minister Ehud Barak and IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz.
