Weather: Desert Winds to Raise Temperature


It will be fair and warmer than usual, Monday, with easterly winds gusting between 30 and 45 kilometers/20-29 miles per hour in inland areas and the Mediterranean coast, north of Haifa. Further down the coast, the winds will be northerly or westerly at up to 20km/13 miles an hour and in the Eilat area, gusts out of the south will reach 30 kilometers/20 miles an hour. Temperatures will drop but it will still be warmer than usual, Tuesday, as the easterly winds continue during the morning in the north under clear to partly skies. It will be partly cloudy and significantly cooler Wednesday and Thursday.
