Ran Aboukasis, the brother of 17-year-old Ella Aboukasis, who was killed by a Kassam rocket blast in Sderot in 2005, issued a call, Friday, for funds to replace motors for climate control stolen this week from a Sderot facility built in Ella's memory. The building serves as a sheltered center for youth and other activities. It was built by Mif'al Hapayis but its operation depends on donations.
Ran told Arutz Sheva that it is the only sheltered Torah center in the city. He added that the theft is a particularly hard blow, given the need for heating at this time of year.
