15 to be Charged in Qasr Al-Yehud Incident

An indictment is expected to be filed, Thursday, in the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court, against 15 youths arrested, Monday, on suspicion of damaging military property at Qasr Al-Yehud on Israel's border with Jordan.

The 15 are suspected of cutting a hole in the border fence and going to the Jordanian side, where they allegedly barricaded themselves in a building before being removed by troops. Their act was a protest of Jordanian involvement in an Israeli decision to close the bridge connecting the Western Wall Plaza with the Rambam (Mughrabi) Gate to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem
