To mark the 24th anniversary of the Hamas terrorist organization, Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh declared, "Today we say clearly, that the armed struggle is the means and the strategic choice to release Palestinian land from the sea to the river."
Haniyeh stressed that there was no other option but to attempt more kidnappings of Israeli soldiers.
