Chairman Ya'akov Katz of the National Union party said, Tuesday, that Monday's riot at the Ephraim-region Division Headquarters was not carried out by nationalists but by those who would malign them and the Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria. Ketzaleh said, in a statement, "Whoever hitthe IDFis aprovocateurplantedby the Shabak [Israel Security Agency], whichis controlledbythe radical left. Its purpose is to malign thesettlement enterpriseto pave the way for Ehud Barak's plan and desires of many years to demolishcommunities."
