3,000 More Hours for Hareidi Special Education

Education Minister Gid'on Sa'ar announced, Monday, that his ministry is allocating 3,000 additional hours to special education in the hareidi-religious sector. The supplement, approved last week, almost doubles the current allocation.

Sa'ar made his announcement at the first annual conference on advancing the quality of life for children and adults with disabilities in the religious and hareidi sectors. He also said, "Everyone is born in [G-d's] image and everyone has the right to exercise his abilities and potential. In recent years, the religious and hareidi-religious public is investing a lot in special education and this is very admirable."
