Chairman Zevulan Orlev of the Knesset Committee on the Rights of Children reminded Defense Minister Ehud Barak and Public Safety Minister Yitzchak Aharonovich, Thursday, not to evict families with children from outpost communities in Judea and Samaria as long as there are no clear guidelines for evictions. The decision not to uproot without guidelines was made at a committee meeting following the traumatizing of children who were woken up in the middle of the night for a recent demolition in the Binyamin-region community of Migron.

The reminder was issued with an eye to the impending uprooting of the Samarian community of Ramat Gilad, north of Karnei Shomron, which is home to 13 families.
