Western Wall Rabbi's Staff Studying Rambam Bridge Order

The office of Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovitch of the Western Wall and Holy Places said, Thursday afternoon, that the office was studying the pending order by the Jerusalem municipality to close the wooden bridge that leads from the Western Wall Plaza to the Mughrabi Gate entrance to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem's Old City. Municipal Engineer Shlomo Eshkol cited the danger of the bridge collapsing or catching fire.

The Kotel (Western Wall) Heritage Fund has seven days to respond to the order.
