Yen and Pound Beat Euro and Dollar

The official value of the shekel declined an average of .083 percent, Thursday, against the major currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign exchange list. The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.741, up .027 from Wednesday's rate, while the Euro rose .064 percent to 5.0079 shekels.

The pound sterling was set at NIS 5.8721, up .484 percent, while the Japanese yen rose .578 percent, 100 yen buying 4.8393 shekels.
