Medical residents confirmed an agreement with the Ministry of Finance that could end the threats of strikes and walk-outs at hospitals. The agreement was approved by 269 in favor of and 163 against the proposal.

According to the new memorandum of understanding, medical interns will receive grants and better working conditions.
