The trial of Rabbi Moti Elon has begun in the Jerusalem Magistrate Court Wednesday afternoon.. Attorney Yaakov Rubin said upon his arrival in court, “I hope the indictment will be completely refuted.” The Rabbi is charged with commiting physical acts against minors, based on testimony of his custom to embrace his students.
The rabbi rejects all charges of wrongdoing against him.
