On Monday the Knesset approved the first reading a new amendment to the Museums Act. Submitted by Member of Knesset Uri Ariel of the National Union, Party, the amendment would allow room in the budget for museums located in Judea and Samaria.
19 Knesset members supported the proposal and 3 voted against it. The proposal will now return to the Education Committee to prepare for a second and third reading before passing into law.
