The Knesset on Monday passed on its second and third reading a law that would allow the government to directly fund museums in Judea and Samaria. The law passed with 19 MKs voting in favor, and only three opposed.
MK Uri Ariel said that the passage of the law was a milestone. “For the first time since the Six Day War the Knesset has agreed to impose Israeli law on Judea and Samaria. This is another step in strengthening our ties to the Land of Israel, and it is another step in the ending of discrimination against Jewish residents of Yesha,” he said.
