Industry, Commerce and Labor Minister Shalom Simchon decided, Monday, that prisoners who are about to be released and prisoners who have just been released will be designated as a special population and be eligible for assistance from the ministry.

Other special populations qualifying for special assistance include minorities, the hareidi-religious population and single parents, among others.
