Dozens of Kessim (Ethiopian Jewish religious leaders) demonstrated, Sunday afternoon, opposite the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem, demanding that the Religious Services Ministry recognize them as spiritual leaders of the Ethiopian community and integrate them in local religious councils, in accordance with a cabinet decision from May 2010.

Following the demonstration, Ethiopian-born Member of Knesset Shlomo Molla (Kadima) is expected to introduce a Jewish religious-services bill in the next few days.
