The United States Senate approved, Thursday, a bill to hold terror suspects associated with Al-Qaeda and other groups, including those arrested in the U.S., in military prisons. The bill will allow terror suspects to be held indefintely without trial.

The proposal was part of a $662 military spending bill for 2012. Compromises must be worked out with the House version of the same bill.
