The Yemeni ruling party and opposition parties agreed, Thursday, on formation of a temporary unity government until elections at the start of the year.

According to the agreement, leaked by an opposition member on the condition of anonymity, the ruling party will continue to hold the defense, foreign affaris and oil industry portfolios, while the oppositions parties will receive the treasury, interior, regional cooperation and public information ministries.
