Labor Minister Ahmad Majdalani of the Palestinian Authority submitted his resignation, Thursday, about a week after cursing PA employees on a Ramallah radio station, according to the PA's WAFA news agency. Majdalani talked about the employees during an interview. When the host thanked him for the interview, he thought he was off the air and let the curses fly, unaware that people were listening.
In response, the employees held a demonstration outside the office of Prime Minister Salam Fayyad to call for Majdalani's immediate dismissal. In addition to resigning, Majdalani apologized for his inappropriate behavior.
