2 of the 13 residents of Yitzhar, Hebron and Jerusalem who received 6-month restraining orders from the IDF by order of the ISA were to return to their homes in two days. They were surprised to discover officers at their door with a six month extension of the restraining order, signed by the IDF Central Command General. One of the men was suspected of the Tuba Zangariya mosque arson but was released with no evidence against him.
The Honenu association responded to the extension, “When a state becomes a totalitarian dictatorship such events go unnoticed. This method of restraining someone just because the authorities don’t like him should be cause for everyone’s concern.
