This week permanent housing plans were approved by the ‘Shikmim Committee’ (responsible for construction in the Ashkelon-Lachish region) to build the town of ‘Bnei Dekalim’ for the families of Gush Katif. Motti Shomron welcomes the approval: “We were expelled from Neveh Dekalim six and a half years ago. We look forward to our new town in time for the new school year, with day care centers, synagogues and communal facilities in addition to our permanent homes.”
