Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Ron Prosor, slammed the UN on Tuesday in a speech he made to the General Assembly on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of the UN resolution of November 29, 1947.

Prosor said that the UN is a rubber stamp to the Palestinian Authority’s every whim and added, “Instead of promoting peace the UN perpetuates the conflict. All that is required to distort history is an automatic majority in the UN rather than accuracy of facts.”

He also slammed the PA and said, “UN resolution 181 mentions the Jewish state no less than 25 times, but for 64 years the Palestinian leaders have not dared to use the term even once. The fact is that by 1967 Judea and Samaria were part of Jordan and Gaza was part of Egypt. The Arab world at the time did nothing to establish a Palestinian state.”
