Germany has summoned the Iranian ambassador in Berlin for clarifications, following Tuesday’s attack on the British Embassy in Tehran by Iranian students.
Germany’s foreign minister, Guido Westerwelle, who announced that the ambassador has been called in, said, “We condemn the attack on the British embassy in Iran.” He noted that a German school building in Iran has also been attacked in the past by an angry mob.
