Lieberman: We're Not Quitting Coalition

Chairman Avigdor Lieberman of the Yisrael Beiteinu party said, Monday, that he does not intend to quit the coalition. Addressing the party's Knesset faction, the foreign minister said, "If we decide to quit, the media will know it."

Lieberman spoke out against resuming the transfer of tax receipts to the Palestinian Authority, noting payments made by PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas to security prisoners released by Israel in the Gilad Shalit deal. He said the PA's activity symbolizes one thing - that it's glamorous to be a terrorist and that to give money to the PA is to encourage murder.
