The Knesset faction of the National Union faction said, Monday, that the words of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu "indicate a policy which has absolutely lost all sense of security." Members of the faction were reacting to the possibility that the government might resume transferring tax receipts to the Palestinian Authority, which were frozen about a month ago, when the PA successfully sought entrance to the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization as a full member.
The faction issued a statement which said, "Netanyahu's policy continues to strengthen the Arabs and give them presents. thereby directly harming state security. Cabinet members must exhibit national responsibility and thwart this process."
