Director-General Effie Rosenhaus of the Supersol supermarket chain announced his resignation, Sunday evening, after a deal to sell the chain to the Bronfman-Fisher Group fell through. Rosenhuis held the position eight and a half years.

The Supersol board named Itzik Abercohen, Deputy Director-General in charge of operations and the supply chain, to replace Rosenhaus.
