C'tee to Discuss Tougher Security-Prisoner Conditions

The Knesset Internal Affairs and Environment Committee is scheduled to discuss, Monday, the "Wanted Prisoners" bill, which would make conditions in Israeli custody tougher for security prisoners whose terror organizations are holding Israelis captive.

Member of Knesset Yariv Levin (LIkud), the bill's main sponsor, said the purpose of the bill is "to bring to end the intolerable status of luxurious conditions enjoyed by security prisoners in Israel." Member of Knesset Aryeh Eldad told Arutz Sheva that the bill is intended to act as a warning against terror groups abducting Israelis.
