Defense Minister Ehud Barak will bring to the cabinet, Sunday, a unique bill to grant a payment of about 100,000 shekels to about 1,800 widows of reserves soldiers who died before 1999. A law enacted in 2002 covers survivors of reservists who died after that date.
The bill is scheduled to start an accelerated run through the Knesset on Monday.
