The Chairman of Professors for a Strong Israel, Dr. Gabi Avital, said on Thursday that at least half of the Supreme Court should be made up of rightist judges.
“Women, Arabs, hareidi-religious Jews and Sephardim are represented, but the judges who rule on matters affecting world view are supposed to represent the majority of the public, so at least half of the judges should have a nationalistic world view,” Avital told Arutz Sheva.
He added that appointing secular Ashkenazi judges to the Supreme Court makes the system even more left-wing.
