Nokia to Dismiss 17,000 Employees

Finland cellular giant Nokia has announced that it will dismiss some 17,000 employees, comprising 23% of the Nokia work force. The dismissals will take place over the next two years as part of the efficiency program of the company following the purchase of the Motorola mobile division. (Maariv)
