Lieberman Denies Coalition Threat

Chairman Avigdor Lieberman of the Yisrael Beiteinu party labelled as "only commentary", Tuesday, reports that he will pull the party out of the government if Jewish outpost communities in Judea and Samaria are uprooted. At the same time, he said it would not be worthwhile to place a dilema before the party which it would find hard to deal with.

Interviewed by Kol Yisrael government radio, the foreign minister said uprooting of the communities would make life difficult for the party's Knesset members and their colleagues in the Likud and Bayit Yehudi parties. He added that most of the communities defined as "unauthorized" were built by the government, with its permission and at its request, and that it was possible to reach a solution with goodwill on the part of all sides.
