Judge Riva Niv of the Tel Aviv Magistrates Court denied, Monday, a request by State Prosecutor Moshe Lador to delay former prime minister Ehud Olmert's libel suit against him.

Olmert is suing Lador and the Ha'aretz daily for comments made during an interview with the newspaper about the Holyland corruption case, in which Olmert is a defendent.
