Bnei Brak: Prepare Your Shelters or Pay

The sanitation department in the city of Bnei Brak, east of Tel Aviv, warned its residents, Sunday, that they have a month to clean out their emergency shelters or face fines. The city will be sending inspectors to look at the shelters in December. If a shelter is not ready for an emergency, the building's residents' committee will receive a warning, and if the situation does not improve a few days later, a fine will follow.

Against the backdrop of talk about the Iranian nuclear threat and recent rocket attacks originating in Gaza, the city told Arutz Sheva that there are no orders from the Homefront Command and the city does not want to startle its residents, but it's appropriate for the shelters to be ready.
