At least 175 demonstrators of the “Occupy Wall Street” movement were arrested in New York on Thursday, after blocking streets near the Stock Exchange. One of the detainees also threw vinegar into the eyes of several policemen.
The demonstrators took to the streets to mark two months since the outbreak of the protests. Other demonstrations were held in other cities across the U.S. 23 protesters were detained in a similar demonstration in Los Angeles.
