Pri Hagalil Labor and Management to Meet

The management of the Pri Hagalil produce processing plant is scheduled to meet, Tuesday morning, with leaders of the company's employee council and representatives of the Histadrut Labor Federation in an attempt to prevent implementation of a decision to lay off 50 workers, according to Israel Defense Forces Radio.

Workers are planning to begin a strike this morning. They also plan to put up a tent city outside the factory, where they will stay until their demands are met.
